Civil department was started in 2007 in Evening shift under Self Help Base Program. Late on, it was also offered in Morning Regular Program in 2009. The Lab of Civil department is fully equipped with the necessary equipment’s, tolls, accessories etc. Theodolite and total station are also available for survey and planning measurements. Students are practically engaged in construction and re repairing works to enhance their knowledge and skill in the field.
Scope of Civil engineers is very high in Pakistan. Demand is getting higher and higher with the increasing investment in housing projects and town schemes like Bahria Town, DHA and other societies. In addition to these, CPEC and other big foreign projects have increased the demands of new buildings, airports, transportation and roads infrastructure which is directly linked with Civil Engineering.
